So much business and networking around the world is done over coffee breaks, drinks and meals, and ‘English for Breakfast’ is the perfect opportunity to practice and develop these extremely important skills before your next conference, trade show, or the like.
This event will be led by two mother-tongue instructors from New York English Academy – one American, one British, both certified by the University of Cambridge!

Since 2014, New York English Academy has become synonymous with highly-innovative English courses and cultural programming in Pisa and throughout the region.
Founded and led by New York native, prof. Shemtov, who is certified by both the University of Cambridge and Berlitz and has been teaching for more than 20 years in New York, Prague, Berlin and Italy, New York English Academy has had the good fortune of establishing long-term collaborations with most leading tech and cultural institutions in the region, including The Comunes of Pisa, Lucca and Firenze, The University of Pisa, Polo Tecnologico di Navacchio, Palazzo Blu, Virgo, Teatro del Giglio, Fondazione Arpa, etc.
We are now extremely proud to begin this new collaboration with GATE Business Center and start exploring the many possibilities of serving as a linguistic and cultural bridge between Pisa’s rich tech, business and academic communities and their many English-speaking markets and collaborators around the world.
‘English for Breakfast’ is the first collaboration of this kind we look forward to offering many more of our trademark courses and events designed especially for today’s fragmented and frenetic lifestyle. Not only are our schedules far less regular than in the past, making it harder to attend traditional courses, but our very minds are changing daily, with brand new ways of accessing and processing information, and we believe that language-training techniques must adapt accordingly if they are to remain stimulating and effective.
Not only do we operate with the slogan, ‘Learn English through your passions!’, but we ourselves constantly seek out new methods and approaches that we can be passionate about as trainers, and this begins by studying our clients’ industries and lifestyles in depth in order to better understand their needs and rhythms, and then creating customized courses and programs that help them reach their maximum potential in as little time as possible.
So in addition to offering more traditional courses for all levels and sectors, we also specialize in creating highly-customized training programs and events, like ‘English for Breakfast’, as well as brunches, ‘aperitivi’, full-immersion weekends, English team-building activities, conference- and presentation-simulations, etc., all aimed at making the training-process more fun and, perhaps more importantly, similar to the many real-life situations that our clients encounter throughout the English-speaking world.
