New Courses Coming to ‘Arsenale’ in October 2015
Tuscan English Academy, in line with its philosophy of ‘Impara l’inglese attraverso le tue passioni’ (‘Learn English through your passions’), has teamed up with Cinema Arsenale to create a series of cinema-related English courses and seminars.
Cinema Arsenale has long hosted quality English films in their original language and now they will start hosting programs that will help members improve their ability to fully experience these films in their original format.
The first program will feature monthly seminars, consisting of 4 weekly 90-minute lessons, during which we will focus on one of the English films to be screened at Arsenale that month.
In addition to watching the film together, the lessons will focus on the vocabulary, grammar and expressions featured in the film. In addition to extensive conversation practice, we will also read, watch and listen to reviews, articles, and discussions about the film in order to practice reading and listening skills – all in within the context of cinema.
